The Queensborough Community College men's basketball team made it back-to-back wins this week after defeating Bronx Community College last night in Bayside, by a score of 84-67.
The Tigers were once again led by freshman
Anthony Walters, who delivered another double-double with 31 points and 20 rebounds. For good measure, he also included a team-high 6 assists. Key contributors also included sophomore
Rohan Singh with 16 points and 5 rebounds, as well as fellow sophomore
Stephon Flores, who added 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots.
With the win, the Tigers improve to 3-5 overall on the season, and 2-2 in CUNYAC play.
The Tigers will return to action on Saturday, December 10th, when they will travel to Selden, New York to take on Region XV foe Suffolk Community College. With Saturday's game being the final game of the Fall semester, Queensborough will look to make it three straight victories as they head into the semester break.
