The Queenborough Community College men's basketball team made big shots down the stretch to defeat the Sharks of Suffolk Community College by a score of 92-86 on Tuesday night. With the victory, the Tigers improve to 10-6 overall, and are now winners of nine of their last ten games.
The Tigers received big scoring output from freshman
Anthony Walters (29 points) and sophomore
Rohan Singh (28 points). Sophomore
Preston Harts also came up big with a 16 point, 10 rebound double-double. Walters currently leads all of NJCAA Division III in scoring, averaging a nation's best 25.5 points per game.
The Tigers will return to action on Thursday evening, when they will travel to Long Island City to face CUNYAC opponent LaGuardia Community College.
