On Saturday, the Queensborough Community College men's basketball team continued their red hot play with their 5th consecutive win, and their eleventh win in twelve games . Saturday's victory came in the Bronx, where the Tigers defeated the Caimans of Hostos Community College in a pivotal CUNYAC match-up, by a score of 87-74. With the win, Queensborough improves to 12-6 overall on the season, and 6-2 in conference play.
Queensborough was led by four players in double figures on Saturday, led by sophomore
Stephon Flores, who contributed a team-high 29 points, to go along with 5 assists and 4 steals. Key contributors also included freshman
Anthony Walters with 28 points and 7 rebounds, sophomore
Rohan Singh with 18 points, sophomore
Preston Harts with 10 points, and sophomore
Zacharie Nyanid with a team-high 14 rebounds and two blocked shots.
The Tigers will return to action on Tuesday, January 31st, when they will host the Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College in a pivotal conference match-up.
