The Queensborough Community College men's basketball team rolled past Bronx Community College on Saturday, defeating the Broncos on their home floor by a score of 90-58.
The Tigers received key contributions from multiple players, including freshman
Anthony Walters with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Sophomore
Stephon Flores chipped in with 19 points and 5 steals, while sophomore
Zacharie Nyanid added 11 points and 18 rebounds, and fellow sophomore
Rohan Singh contributed 17 points, on 5 for 10 shooting from three-point range.
With the win, the Tigers extend their winning streak to four games, and improve to 5-5 overall, and 3-2 in CUNYAC play. Queensborough will return to action on Tuesday, January 10th, when they will travel to New Rochelle, New York to take on Monroe College-Bronx in a pivotal Region XV match-up.
