The Queensborough Community College men's basketball team knocked off the Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College by a score of 84-73 tonight in a rematch of the 2023 CUNYAC Championship Game.
The Tigers were led by two twenty-plus point scorers in freshman
Williams Guzman (23 points) and sophomore
Yasin Abdur-Rashid with 20 points, Also scoring in double digits were sophomore
Isaiah Grant (16 points), freshman
Joseph Ferguson (11 points), and freshman
Brandon Sun (10 points).
With the win, the Tigers improve to 1-3 overall on the season, and begin conference play with a victory in their first CUNYAC game of the year. The team will return to action on Tuesday, November 21st, when they will travel to Brooklyn to take on the Wave of KIngsborough Community College.
