The Queensborough Community College men's basketball team extended their winning streak to six games on Tuesday evening, with a decisive 90-71 victory over the Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College. The win is the twelfth in the last thirteen games for Queensborough. With the win, Queensborough improves to 13-6 overall on the season, and 7-2 in conference play.
Queensborough was led by four players in double figures on Tuesday, most notably by freshman
Anthony Walters, who recorded his second triple-double of the season with a team-high 28Â points, to go along with 10 rebounds, 10Â assists and 4Â steals. Other key contributors also included sophomore
Preston Harts with 20 points and 8Â rebounds, sophomore
Stephon Flores with 16 points and 6 assists, freshman
Bryan Godette with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds, and sophomoreÂ
Rohan Singh with 13 points on 3 of 4 shooting from three-point range.
The Tigers will return to action on Thursday, February 2nd, when they will host the Wave of Kingsborough Community College in another pivotal conference match-up.
