The Queensborough Community College men's basketball team extended their winning streak to six games on Tuesday evening, with a decisive 90-71 victory over the Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College. The win is the twelfth in the last thirteen games for Queensborough. With the win, Queensborough improves to 13-6 overall on the season, and 7-2 in conference play.
Queensborough was led by four players in double figures on Tuesday, most notably by freshman
Anthony Walters, who recorded his second triple-double of the season with a team-high 28 points, to go along with 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Other key contributors also included sophomore
Preston Harts with 20 points and 8 rebounds, sophomore
Stephon Flores with 16 points and 6 assists, freshman
Bryan Godette with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds, and sophomore
Rohan Singh with 13 points on 3 of 4 shooting from three-point range.
The Tigers will return to action on Thursday, February 2nd, when they will host the Wave of Kingsborough Community College in another pivotal conference match-up.
