For the second consecutive season, the Queensborough Community College men's basketball team has advanced to play in the CUNYAC Championship Game.
With a 75-61 victory over the fourth seeded Wave of Kingsborough Community College, the top seeded Tigers earned the right to play for City University of New York Athletic Conference championship on Friday evening. With the win, the Tigers improve their record to 15-7 on the season.
Freshman
Anthony Walters led the way with a team-high 26 points, to go along with 8 rebounds. Sophomore
Preston Harts also played a solid all around game with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and six assists.
The #1 seeded Tigers will take on the third seeded Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College on Friday night starting at 8:30 p.m. The championship game will be played at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York.
