The fourth seeded Queensborough Community College men's basketball team suffered a mild upset on Wednesday evening, when they were defeated by the fifth seeded Caimans of Hostos Community College by a score of 78-67 in the Region XV Tournament Quarterfinals. With the loss, the Tigers season ends with an overall record of 16-8.
The Tigers were led by sophomore
Preston Harts, who in his final game for Queensborough, recorded a double-double with a team-high 19 points to go along with 12 rebounds and four assists. Also in double figures were freshman
Anthony Walters with 15 points and eight rebounds, as well as sophomore
Stephon Flores who added 10 points in his final career game as a Tiger.
