Queensborough Community College freshman David Adekoya has been selected the NJCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the week of March 22-28, 2023.

David was recognized by the NJCAA National Office for his efforts this past Saturday in the pouring rain at the Queens College Season Opener meet, where he competed in the 200m, 110m Hurdles, 4x100m Relay, and Long Jump. On the day, he finished first overall in the 110m Hurdles, and qualified for the 2023 NJCAA National Championships in the 200m, 110m Hurdles, and 4x100m Relay.
