The Queensborough Community College men's basketball team knocked off the Wave of Kingsborough Community College on Thursday evening, sweeping the season series between the two CUNYAC schools.
On the night, the Tigers once again showed a balanced attack with four players scoring in double figures. Leading the way were guards Yasin Abdur-Rashid (21 points) and
Brandon Sun (20 points). Queensborough also received a strong contribution off the bench from sophomore
Bryan Godette, who chipped in with 15 points and six rebounds.
Next, the Tigers will step out of region play on Saturday and travel to Middletown, New York to take on NJCAA Division II Orange Community College.
