The Queensborough Community College men's basketball team fell to conference rival BMCC on Wednesday evening by a score of 68 to 62 in the 2024 edition of the CUNYAC Tournament. The Tigers were attempting to defend their 2023 CUNYAC title that they won last season.
Leading at the half by a score of 31-30, the Tigers and Panthers went back and forth the entire evening in a closely contested battle among teams that split their head-to-head series this season.
On the night, QCC was led by sophomore forward
Isaiah Grant, who scored a team-high 23 points, including 5-for-11 from 3-point range. Also in double figures was fellow sophomore forward
Bryan Godette, who chipped in with 11 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.
The Tigers will return to the court on Thursday, February 22nd, when they will face Monroe College-Bronx in the their final home game and regular season game of the season.
