Back from the Thanksgiving break, the QCC men's basketball team picked up right where they left off, with an impressive 89-69 win on the road in Long Island City at LaGuardia Community College.
The Tigers once again saw four players score in double figures, and they were once again led by sophomore
Diego Cruz Lopez who continued his hot shooting scoring 26 points on 10-for-16 from the floor, including 4-for-8 from three-point range. Also joining the party in double digits were freshman
Derick Charles (18), sophomore
Jerheim Elder (14), and sophomore
Cadell Inniss (10).
Queensborough now stands at 3-0 in CUNY play while improving their overall record to 7-1. They will quickly return to action on Saturday when they will travel to the Bronx to take on the Broncos of Bronx Community College.
