The Queensborough Community College men's basketball team walked into the Bronx on Saturday afternoon and came away with a lopsided 115-59 victory over the Broncos to run their win streak to four games.
The Tigers saw twelve different players score, with six of them scoring in double figures in the blowout win. Queensborough was led by sophomore
Diego Cruz Lopez with 21 points, followed closely by standout freshman
Derick Charles with 20 points. Big contributions also came from freshman
Angel Nunez (14 points), freshman
Jalen Cline (13 points), sophomore
Jerheim Elder (13 points), and freshman
Byron Sun (11 points).
QCC improves to 4-0 in CUNY play with the win and 8-1 overall. The Tigers will step out of region and conference play in their next game when they will travel out to Suffolk County to take on USCAA opponent, Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York.
