On Friday, January 21st, the Queensborough Men's & Women's Indoor Track & Field teams competed at the 2022 Ramapo College Season Opener event that was held at the New Balance Armory in New York City.

The men's team was led by Freshman Benjamin Wade, who finished 21st overall in the Men's 600 meters and 29th overall in the 800 meters. Fellow Freshman O'-Neil Gillespie also secured a top 20 finish, by finishing 18th in the unseeded division.

The women's team was led by Freshman Kafilat Yekinni, who finished 5th in the unseeded 60 meter dash division.

Both teams will return to action on Friday, January 28th, when they travel to Staten Island, New York, to compete in the 2022 University of Albany Great Dane Invitational at Ocean Breeze.
