The Queensborough Community College men's cross country team finished second at the 2024 Region XV Championships held at Sunken Meadow State Park on Saturday. For the Tigers, it's the fourth consecutive Region XV runner-up finish.
The Tigers were led by two top ten finishers in freshman
Gabriel Deneau (8th place) and freshman
Edward Samoleski (9th place). Queensborough scored 50 points as a team, trailing only behind Suffolk Community College, who scored 23 points as a team.
For their efforts, Deneau and Samoleski earned All-Region XV honors.
