For only the fourth time in school history, and the first time by a relay team, Queensborough Community College has an NJCAA National Champion!
On day three of the 2026 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Utica, New York, the women's relay team of sophomore
Cristina Collier, sophomore
Chelsea Ratcliff, freshman
Ashirah Cox, and freshman
Nashya Burrell won the Women's 4x400 Meter Relay event in a winning time of 4:20.10. The second place finisher was the College of DuPage, who finished less than a second behind in a time of 4:20.59.
The previous three national champions in school history came back in 2010 and 2011, when Gerale Middleton won back to back national championships in the Women's Outdoor Track & Field 800m run, and again in 2022 when Shorn Grant won the national title in the Men's Outdoor Track & Field Triple Jump.
