The Queensborough Community College women's outdoor track & field team completed their season with a program best 6th place overall finish at the 2026 NJCAA Division III National Championships, which were held at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York, from May 7-9, 2026.
The top finish of the day came from the 4x400m Relay team of
Cristina Collier,
Chelsea Ratcliff,
Ashirah Cox, and
Nashya Burrell who finished in first place and won the National Championship in the event. It's the first time any Queensborough relay team (men or women) has won a national title, and it's the fourth individual event national title in school history, and the third individual event national title for the women's program.
Other top finishes at the meet for the Tigers came from Burrell with a second place finish in the 400m and a fourth place finish in the 200m, Collier, who finished tied for seventh in the High Jump,
Janya Polo, who finished fourth in the Heptathlon, the 4x800m Relay (Collier, Burrell, Ratcliff, and Cox) with a sixth place finish, and the 4x100m Relay (Collier, Burrell, Ratcliff, and Polo) with a fourth place finish.
For their efforts, the following Queensborough women's outdoor track & field athletes earned All-America honors:
