The Queensborough Men's Soccer season came to an end on Saturday in the Region XV Quarterfinals.
The Tigers, the number three seed in the regional tournament, faced off with a familiar face in the 6th seeded Broncos from Bronx Community College on the campus of QCC in Bayside, New York. In a tightly contested match between conference opponents, the Tigers would fall to the Broncos by a score of 1-0, with the only goal coming on a penalty kick by Bronx, which came from a controversial call of a hand ball in the box against Queensborough in the second half.
With the loss, the Tigers end their season with an overall record of 8-4-1.
