The Queensborough Community College men's and women's cross country teams continued their 2022 season on Friday at the New Paltz Invitational, which was held at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome complex in Milton, New York.
For the women, freshman
Shivangi Sharma finished 4th among junior college runners (48th overall), and was the highest finisher among the three QCC runners.
On the men's side, the Tigers finished 6th overall out of 11 teams, defeating the likes of NCAA Division III Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, the College of Mount Saint Vincent, Mount Saint Mary College, and Lehman College, as well as NCAA Division II Pace University. The Tigers were led by two top-30 finishers, led by freshman
Renaediaz Miller (7th overall) and freshman
LeAndre Simpson (27th overall).
Both teams will return to action next Sunday, September 25th, when they will compete in the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, New York.
