The Queensborough Community College men's soccer team defeated longtime CUNYAC rival, Borough of Manhattan Community College by a score of 4-1 on Tuesday in a match played in Bayside, New York. This was the first match-up between the Tigers and Panthers since the teams last played each other on October 19, 2019 in the Region XV Quarterfinals.
Trailing 1-0 thirty minutes into the match, the Tigers would answer by scoring four unanswered goals the rest of the way to secure the crucial conference victory. The Tigers received goals from four different players, including
Malduin Aldaz (30'),
John Pavana (48'),
Anthony Gallardo (57'), and
Geovanny Ventura (82'). With the win, the Tigers improve to 3-2 overall, and 1-0 in CUNYAC play.
The Tigers will return to action on Thursday, September 22nd, when they will travel to Brooklyn to take on CUNYAC foe, Kingsborough Community College at 4:00 p.m.
