The Queensborough Community College men's soccer team defeated Kingsborough Community College by a score of 7-2 on Thursday in a key conference match-up that was played in Brooklyn, New York.
Trailing 1-0 early in the match, the Tigers would respsond by scoring three unanswered goals in the first half to lead 3-1 heading into the break. After another Wave goal early in the second half to cut the lead to 3-2, the Tigers would reel off the next four goals to take home the victory by a score of 7-2. The Tigers were led by freshman
Anthony Gallardo who recorded a hat trick with three goals on the day. Other goal scorers included freshman
Geovanny Ventura, freshman
Saleel Eldin, freshman
Malduin Aldaz, and sophomore
John Pavana. With the road victory, the Tigers improve to 4-2 overall, and 2-0 in CUNYAC play.
The Tigers will return to action on Saturday, September 24th, when they will host Monroe College-Bronx at 1:00 p.m in Bayside.
