The Queensborough Community College men's cross country team won the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational title for the junior division on Sunday at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, New York. Overall, the Tigers finished 8th out of 14 scoring teams, defeating the likes of NCAA Division III schools CCNY, Sarah Lawrence College, St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn, and Brooklyn College.
The Tigers were led by freshman
Renaediaz Miller, who finished 21st overall. He also had plenty of scoring support as well from fellow freshman
Nickolas Pirovolikos (56th overall),
LeAndre Simpson (57th overall),
Karlo Baldonado (69th overall), and
Chrisnel Nicolas (84th overall). A total of ten Tigers ran in the event, with the top 5 team finishers counting towards the team scoring.
The Tigers will return to action on Sunday, October 2nd when the team will host the 2022 Queensborough Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park, in the Bronx, New York.
