The Queensborough Community College women's cross country team finished third at the 2024 Region XV Championships held at Sunken Meadow State Park on Saturday. For the Tigers, it's the third consecutive top three finish after having finished as the Region XV runner-up the previous two seasons.
The Tigers were led by one top ten finisher in sophomore
Manar Elnoor (7th place). Queensborough scored 60 points as a team, trailing only behind the Fashion Institute of Technology (31 points) and Suffolk Community College (33 points).
For her efforts, Elnoor earned All-Region XV honors.
