Five members of the Queensborough Community College women's volleyball team earned CUNY Community College honors for their individual performances in the 2024 season.
Head Coach Jason Demas was selected as the 2024 CUNY Community College Women's Volleyball Coach of the Year for the leading the Tigers to an undefeated regular season in CUNY play with a record of 8-0. It's the eleventh time that he has won the award.
Sophomore outside hitter
Michelle Liu was named the 2024 CUNY Community College Women's Volleyball Player of the Year. For the 2024 season, Liu has also been selected as the CUNY Tournament Most Valuable Player, as well as a Region XV First Team honoree. Liu led the Tigers in kills (178), kills per set (2.28), points (240), and points per set (3.1). She was also named to the 2024 CUNY Community College All-Conference team.
