The Queensborough Community College women's volleyball season came to an end on Saturday afternoon with a heartbreaking, five-set loss in the 2024 Region XV Semifinals. It's the third consecutive season that the Tigers have lost in the region semifinals in five sets.
The Tigers end their season with an overall record of 18-6, with five of the six losses coming at the hands of the two teams that advanced to the Region XV final. The other loss came on the road against an NJCAA Division I opponent.
For her efforts in the tournament, sophomore outside hitter
Michelle Liu was named to the 2024 Region XV Women's Volleyball All-Tournament Team.
