The Queensborough Community College women's basketball team was defeated by the 14th-ranked and #1 seeded Hostos Community College Caimans on Wednesday afternoon in the CUNYAC Semifinals played at Kingsborough Community College, by a score of 74-33.
The Tigers were led freshman
Sheila Da Silva, who scored a team-high 16 points to go along with 7 rebounds. She was aided by sophomore
Nayla Walters, who added another double-double to her resume with 11 points, 21 rebounds and two blocked shots.
With the loss, the Tigers drop to 6-13 overall on the season. They will return to the court on Thursday, February 22nd, when they will face Monroe College-Bronx in the their final home game and regular season game of the season.
