A pair of Queensborough Community College women's basketball players have been selected for 2023-24 Region XV Division III honors as voted on by the head coaches in the region on Sunday.

Sophomore forward Nayla Walters was named an Honorable Mention All-Region selection, while freshman guard Shu Qi Yang was named to the Region XV Sportsmanship Team.

Entering the Region XV Tournament on Tuesday, Walters is averaging 13.8 points per game to go along with a team-best 18.2 rebounds per game, good for second in the country. Last week, Yang was also named to the 2023-24 CUNYAC Women's Basketball Sportsmanship Team.
