The Queensborough Community College baseball team swept both games of a doubleheader on Saturday against Dutchess Community College in a twin bill that was played at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. With the doubleheader sweep, the Tigers win the four-game season series versus Dutchess, three games to one.
With the wins, the Tigers are now 5-15 overall and 5-15 in Region XV play on the season. Queensborough will return to action on Tuesday, when they will face-off with CUNY rival Bronx Community College in a four-game set beginning at Padavan-Preller Field in Bellerose.
