The Queensborough Community College baseball team won game two of a three-game set by a score of 12-8 on Saturday, setting the stage for a series deciding game three which the Broncos took by a score of 12-2.
With the win, the Tigers now stand alone in second place in CUNY with a record of 1-2. In Region XV play, they are now 1-11 and in fifth place in the standings, while they sport an overall record of 1-13.
Queensborough will now look to solidify their place in the CUNY standings during a three-game tilt with the Borough of Manhattan Community College next week, with all games played at Padavan-Preller Field in Bellerose.
