The Queensborough Community College baseball team played a tight series with the Sharks of Suffolk Community College this past week, but fell in all three games by scores of 16-1, 2-0, and 8-3.
Sophomore
Domenic Ruggiero threw a gem in game two of the series, throwing a no-hitter through five innings, but the effort was not enough as the Tiger bats could not push any runs across the plate in a 2-0 defeat.
The Tigers now stand at 0-8 on the season, with a Region XV record of 0-6. They will return to the field to take on the Express of Monroe University-Bronx in a three-game set next week.
