The Queensborough Community College women's basketball team defeated CUNYAC rival Kingsborough Community College on the road last evening by a score of 64-44 in a pivotal conference match-up.
The Tigers were led by a pair freshman who both had big nights in the victory.
Isabella Casey led all scorers with a game-high 33 points, while also adding 9 rebounds and 4 steals in the contest. Freshman
Nayla Walters also added 17 points and a game-high 29 rebounds.
With the win, the Tigers improve to 4-7 overall on the season, and now stand at 3-3 in CUNYAC play. Queensborough will return to action on Saturday, January 14th, when they will travel to Paramus, New Jersey to face Bergen Community College in non-region action.
