The Queensborough Community College women's basketball team was defeated at home on Thursday evening by Nassau Community College, by a score of 90-48. With the loss, the Tigers drop to 4-9 overall on the season.
In the loss, the Tigers received big contributions from freshman
Nayla Walters with 18 points and 20 rebounds, as well as freshman
Isabella Casey with 18 points, and freshman
Brianna Griffiths with 17 rebounds.
The Tigers will return to action on Tuesday, January 24th, when they will host Suffolk Community College in a Region XV match-up.
UPDATE: This game has since been forfeited by Nassau, and will now be recorded as a win for Queensborough.
