The Queensborough Community College women's basketball team lost a tough defensive contest, 40-24, on Tuesday evening in a match-up versus the Sharks of Suffolk Community College. With the defeat, the Tigers fall to 5-9 overall on the season.

In the contest, Queensborough was led by a trio of freshman in Isabella Casey (13 points), Brianna Griffiths (11 rebounds), and Nayla Walters (13 rebounds).

The Tigers will return to action on Thursday evening, when they will travel to Long Island City to face CUNYAC opponent LaGuardia Community College.
