The Queensborough Community College women's basketball team lost on Saturday afternoon on the road to the 9th ranked team in NJCAA Division III. The Tigers traveled to the Bronx, where they were defeated by the Caimans of Hostos Community College by a score of 77-36. With the loss, the Tigers slip to 6-10 overall on the season, and 4-4 in conference play.
On the day, the Tigers were led by a pair of freshman who had strong outings.
Isabella Casey led Queensborough with a team-high 15 points, to go along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Nayla Walters also added 14 points and a team-high 15 rebounds.
The Tigers will return to action on Tuesday, January 31st, when they will host the Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College in a pivotal conference match-up.
