The Queensborough Community College women's basketball team knocked off the Sharks of Suffolk Community College by a score of 60-49 on Saturday in Bayside.
The Tigers were led by a pair of sophomores who both contributed a double-double on the day. Second-year guard
Isabella Casey scored 18 points in the contest while adding 11 rebounds, but the huge contribution came from second-year forward
Nayla Walters, who had a monster game with 21 points, 24 rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
With the victory, the Tigers improve to 4-5 overall on the season. They will return to action on Tuesday, December 12th, when they will travel to Valhalla, New York to take on NJCAA Division II Westchester Community College in a non-divisional match-up.
