The 2022-23 Queensborough Community College women's basketball season came to an end on Tuesday evening, as the 6th seeded Tigers were upended by the 3rd seeded Lions of Nassau Community College in the First Round of the Region XV Tournament, by a final score of 83-26 in a game played in Garden City. With the loss, the Tigers end the season with an overall record of 7-13.
Queensborough was once again led by a pair of freshman in
Nayla Walters and
Isabella Casey. Walters recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, to go along with two steals. Casey had a solid all-around game with a team-high 12 points, along with four rebounds and four assists.
