Queensborough Community College women's soccer standout Stephanie Perez has been selected as the City University of New York (CUNY) Community College Player of the Year for the 2024 season.

The freshman from Long Island City High School has done it all for the Tigers this season serving as team co-captain. She helped lead the Tigers to the first CUNY Championship in program history and will lead them into the Region XV Semifinals on October 26th, also a program-first. This season, Perez has scored an incredible 19 points in only five matches. So far this season she has scored nine goals and recorded one assist, meaning that she has scored or assisted on ten of the twelve team goals scored this year.

Some of her highlights include scoring a pair of goals against BMCC in a 4-2 victory to clinch to the CUNY Championship on October 3rd, scoring all four team goals against BMCC in another 4-2 victory on October 8th, and then adding three more goals and one assist against the Nassau Community College club team in yet another 4-2 victory on October 12th.
