The Queensborough Community College women's soccer team knocked off the Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College on Thursday by a score of 4-2 at Pier 40 in Manhattan.
With the win, the Tigers earn the title of 2024 CUNY Champions since there are only two teams in the conference this season. The regular season match-up serves as the conference title match for the 2024 season.
In the victory on Thursday, the Tigers took a 3-1 lead at the half and were able to hold off BMCC in the second half. Queensborough was led by freshman
Stephanie Perez with two goals, and also received scoring contributions from sophomore
Vallery Chamba and freshman
Natasha Carvajal. The Tigers now stand at 1-1 on the season.
