The Queensborough Women's Volleyball team advanced to the Region XV Semifinals with a 3-0 win versus Monroe College-Bronx on Thursday night. The #1 seeded Tigers defeated the #8 seeded Express by scores of 25-11, 25-18, and 27-25. On Saturday, they will face #5 seeded Nassau Community College, who defeated the #4 seed Fashion Institute of Technology tonight, to advance to the Semifinals on Saturday. The match versus the Lions will be played at Nassau Community College, starting at 12:00 p.m., with the winner advancing the Region XV Championship later that afternoon. In two matches versus Nassau this year, the Tigers have won both in highly competitive contests, each by a score of 3-2.
