Women's Volleyball Splits Pair To End Regular Season

The Queensborough Community College women's volleyball team split their final two regular season matches on Saturday on the campus of the Borough of Manhattan Community College, as part of the final region double dual of the season versus BMCC and Fashion Institute of Technology.

In the opener, the Tigers would fall to BMCC by a score of 3-1. It's the Tigers second loss of the season in CUNYAC play, with both defeats coming against BMCC.

In the second match of the day, the Tigers defeated Fashion Institute of Technology in yet another five set match, by a score of three sets to two. With the split, the Tigers are now 11-7 overall on the season, and 6-2 in CUNYAC play.

With the regular season now complete, the Tigers will turn their attention to the Region XV Tournament, which will begin with quarterfinal play on Thursday, October 20th. Queensborough will be the #5 seed, and travel to play 4th seeded Westchester Community College at 6:00 p.m. in Valhalla, New York.
