The Queensborough Community College Tigers women's volleyball team swept the Broncos of Bronx Community College three sets to zero on Thursday evening in the RFK Gymnasium in Bayside. Scores for the three sets were 25-6, 25-6, and 25-8.
The Tigers were led by a pair of freshman in
Julianne Cossin (13 service aces) and
Brianna Griffiths, who had a team-high 3 kills. The victory marks a 58th consecutive win versus a CUNYAC opponent. With the win, the Tigers improve to 4-3 overall on the season, including 3-0 in conference play.
Queensborough will return to action on Saturday, when they will travel upstate to Middletown, New York, to face Region XV foe Orange Community College at 12:00 p.m.
