The Queensborough Community College women's volleyball team advanced to the Region XV tournament semifinals with a three sets to two victory over a stubborn Nassau Community College team on Thursday evening.

The third-seeded Tigers were given all they could handle against the sixth-seeded Lions in a match-up of familiar local rivals. In the end, Queensborough prevailed to advance in the tournament to take on the second-seeded Falcons of Dutchess Community College. The semifinal match will take place at Rockland Community College on Saturday, October 28th at 12:00 p.m. The winner of the match will advance to the Region XV final and earn an automatic qualifying bid to the 2023 NJCAA DIvision III National Championship Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
