The Queensborough Community College women's volleyball team earned a tri-match split on Saturday in Branchburg, New Jersey against two out of region opponents.
In the first match of the day, the Tigers faced a familiar foe in Raritan Valley Community College. Though Queensborough was able to win the first set 25-19, the Lions stormed back to win the next three sets to win the match three sets to one. In the second match of the day, the Tigers faced off against NJCAA Division II opponent County College of Morris. This time, Queensborough was able to seize control of the match and reverse their fortunes, as they went on to win the match three sets to one.
The Tigers will return to action on Tuesday, September 19th, when they will open conference play against Hostos Community College on the road in the Bronx.
