The Queensborough Community College women's volleyball team swept a Region XV double dual on Saturday at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, NY.

In the first match of the day, the Tigers withstood a challenge from the Fashion Institute of Technology, defeating them in four sets, 3-1. The second match of the day for Tigers was a long awaited rematch against CUNYAC foe, the Borough of Manhattan Community College. In the first match-up between the teams since last season's CUNYAC Championship Game, the Tigers easily disposed of the Panthers in shutout fashion, three sets to none.

With the two victories, the Tigers improve to 5-1 on the season and remain perfect in Region XV and CUNYAC play. Queensborough will return to action on Tuesday, September 26th when they will travel to the Bronx to take on Bronx Community College.
