The Queensborough Community College women's volleyball team defeated LaGuardia Community College on Tuesday evening three sets to none in their second match of the 2024 season. With the win, the Tigers improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Tigers were led by freshman
Olivia Olchawa, with nine kills on the evening. Sophomore setter
Isabel Torres contributed a team high 32 assists, while sophomore libero
Cynthia Saravia Reyes led the team with seven digs.
The Tigers will face Region XV rival Nassau Community College in their next match, in a pivotal early season contest.
