The Queensborough Community College women's volleyball team recorded their first win of the season with a 3-0 sweep of Hostos Community College in the Bronx on Tuesday evening.

The Tigers were led by sophomore Samantha Mateo with seven kills and 26 digs, while freshman Aryam Perez Capellan led the team with four service aces and 22 assists.

Queensbororugh now stands at 1-3 overall on the season and 1-0 in CUNY play. The Tigers will return to action on Saturday, September 20th when they will face Bronx Community College and Hostos again in a Region XV double dual at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn.
